The SGMGB Management Committee has raised a number of issues with the Planning Inspectors who are Examining the Places for Everyone Spatial Plan. We have concerns about the significant changes that are being proposed by the GMCA, which mean that the Plan is considerably different to that which was consulted on in October 2021. Places for Everyone
The Places for Everyone Joint Development Plan Document – Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan Publication Plan, was considered at the Places for Everyone Joint Committee on the 20th July 2021 and was subsequently approved by each of the nine (Stockport withdrew from this venture in December 2020) districts for publication under Regulation 19 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) England Regulations 2012.
The Places for Everyone Publication consultation closed on 3rd October 2021.
Any responses to representations received during the period of consultation (August 9, 2021 until October 3, 2021) will be submitted electronically to the Secretary of State for consideration by the Planning Inspector(s) as part of the Examination in Public and published in due course.
